Are you smarter than a 5th grader

So I got invited to my first ever pub quiz last week. “Are you sure? Isn’t that for old people?” I responded. “Nah, it’s good fun, you’ll love it” was the response. 

Reluctantly I went along and you know, I have to admit I did rather enjoy it. Well, it’s quite exciting when you can actually answer a question which I have to say didn’t happen as often as I would have liked, guess I should have paid a bit more attention at school. But I could answer a few of the movie questions, although the music questions were a little bit before my time!! 

Anyway if you haven’t ever been before, come down to the UN Irish Bar on Ratvithi Road, just inside the moat. It’s a great place to meet expats and visitors to Chiang Mai. If you don’t want to join in the quiz, you can always watch the sport on TV. They were showing ice hockey at the time on TV, is that really a sport? Just seemed to be a lot of players arguing with each other.

 But I digress, so if you fancy showing off how brainy you are, come along to Quiz Night every Thursday evening at the UN Irish Bar. It starts at 8.30pm. If you want dinner beforehand, I can recommend the bangers and mash, OK so it’s not Thai cuisine, but you can’t eat rice every day.
